Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley is opening up about his rather unusual wedding plans. The singer and his bride Cassie McConnell recently tied the knot quietly in Nashville, in what was described as “a legal formality.”
Charles explains, with the help of bandmate Hillary Scott, that it was necessary given their desire for a wedding in the Caribbean. Lady Antebellum’s busy schedule stems, in part, from their commitment to Kenny Chesney. Their next show is coming up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on Friday. Charles and Cassie will be getting away for their ceremony in the Bahamas within the next few weeks (rumor has it that the date is VERY soon).
