The summer shows no signs of slowing down for Lady Antebellum with more than 24 concerts to go on Kenny Chesney’s “Sun City Carnival” Tour before it wraps in August. Now Lady A is calling their fans to help create their “Webisode Wednesdays” by launching a “Fan Cam” promotion for the remaining 7 stadium dates on the tour.
One Lady A fan at each stop will get a flip camera to snag footage of the tailgaters in the parking lot, the crowd rocking out during the show and even what goes on backstage with the band. Interested fans can enter on the band’s website.
Lady Antebellum’s third single “I Run To You.” Since their show-stopping performance on April’s Academy of Country Music Awards, the single has doubled its weekly album sales.
“This song has really just taken on a life of its own,” says Lady Antebellum lead vocalist Charles Kelley. “You can tell that the lyrics really hit home for people because they are on their feet from the first note. And we’re not making it easy for them either because we added a really cool surprise intro to the live version. It is one of the biggest moments in our set now.”
Lady A will also catch up with fans during the CMA Fest when they perform at LP Field on Friday, June 12 and again at the CMT Music Awards on Tuesday June 16, where they will perform and are nominated in three categories.
