We got a first had report about the John Rich bottle incident at Coco Cafe in Nashville this past weekend.
My name is Clayton Quisenberry and I was there. The guitar John Rich had was mine. We were singing a few songs together and it was the first time I had been able to just sit down and talk to John. He is actually a really cool guy. And he wasent irate at the server because he couldnt drink his beer, it was because he kept getting interupted by people while we were singing. The server that it happened to had just interupted us singing together and was throwing in words to the song that werent part of the song itself. John was agrivated about that. Then the server said, “Well, then I’ll just take your beer.” Thats when john, already upset that the server was being rude to us, grabbed the beer, in a glass, not a bottle, and threw it into the street. The cop was there on his break and was off duty. The news crew was there taping a skit on the parking lot. If I’d've had that happen to me, I’d probly be upset too, I mean the guy has had alot on hisplate lately.
The last thing I needed was to have that server mess one of God only knows the only time I’ll the chance to speak to him like that opportunity.

However, John does threaten him on the video…is this Quisenberry guy going to sugar coat that too? Maybe if John wasn’t such a pompous a-hole he wouldn’t “have a lot on his plate lately”….most likely that is what got him in that trouble in the first place…
John Needs to stay home with his wife and maybe things will get better.John has only his self to blame for his actions.
Of course this bonehead, Clayton Quisnesberry, is gonna say that John Rich is “a really cool guy”. From the sounds on his website, he should be kissing Rich’s ass cause that is probably the only way he will get a record deal. Quinesberry looks to be one of thousands invading Nashville right now. One of the many who sing not much better than a karaoke drunk that could pick or sing a song to save their lives, but because they think they pose well, they are gonna get rich and famous. It is posers like this that is everything souless and wrong with music today.
And about John Rich…he IS an arrogant ass who has consistently thrown his ego around town. He constantly goes into bars and berades (sp?) bands and singers as if he himself were the architech of country music. Rich has done nothing for country other than contribute to it’s lameness of today.
