I guess a country-star boot camp just wasn’t as successful as people would have thought. The camp is being postponed til 2010 and producers are hopeful that the economic conditions will improve enough for people to be willing to fork over tons of money to learn how to be country stars.
Registrants will be given a full refund pending scheduling confirmation for next year. I know you’re peeved Country Girl…This was the Wildhorse concert with Lady A and Phil Vassar that was cancelled for May 25th.

I am SO disappointed! I was looking forward to seeing Lady Antebellum this month. Shucks darn crap!
It sucks that they postponed it, but it’s totally understandable given the way the economy is right now… most aspiring performers are barely making rent, much less the couple grand it would have cost for this camp. Better luck next year.
[...] We’re terribly sorry to inform you that Camp Nashville has been “postponed” until 2010 due to the state of the economy. We like to think that it’s due to the fact that it cost $8,000, but that’s just us. [via Country Music Tattle Tale] [...]
Refunds? Seems a little last minute to cancel. How about non refundable plane tickets already purchased by campers or additional hotel rooms for family and friends? I doubt travel agents are going to care. How about the contest winners from radio stations and website giveaways? Do you think the winners will get to go or do you think they will be passed over for new publicity stunts next year? The economy is bad? What? I had no idea! You mean this isn’t the time to start an $8k fantasy camp? I was tempted to bid on the cmt auction they had up.
