It has been way too long since Rascal Flatts has played the Opry. If I remember correctly it’s been at least 2 – 3 years and boy did they ever give us a show last night!
Tawny and I were front and center for the intimate four song showcase at the Grand Ole Opry. They did not disappoint. They sang “Fast Cars and Freedom”, “What Hurts the Most”, “Take Me There” and “Here Comes Goodbye”.
Their voices carried through the prestigious building like magic. Tawny, who is admittaly not a Rascal Flatts fan, even Twittered about the show this morning saying; “saw Rascal Flatts for the first time last night…They didn’t suck, so that’s a plus.” Do we have a possible new Rascal Flatts fan that has been born? I am keeping my fingers crossed!

Last night was awesome!!!! Had such a great time and got to talk to Gary and Jay’s mom’s and both of Gary’s girls! Too bad they didn’t ask them to become members with all 3 of their mothers there.

I thinkthe last time they played the Opry was in 2005…so it’s been a good few years…I’m wondering when this episode will air on GAC?

Judging by your pictures, looks like you ladies were just a little ways down from us. It was an AMAZING show, and hopefully this will convince the folks at the Opry that they need to have them back more often!
I’m on the fence about Joe don’s hair…liked the longer better.
