OMG! Hide your teenagers, cover their ears – tell them to put their iPods in so they don’t hear this!
Miley Cyrus has some advice for teens who can’t decide whether to pursue their acting dream or go to college. She says “do it. Be a freak. Go to Hollywood.” She also admits that she says whatever pops into her head. (ummm, no kidding!)
The guy who plays her brother on the “Hannah Montana” TV show and in the upcoming movie, Jason Earles, says Miley “doesn’t really have a filter.” But he means it as a good thing, because he says “there’s not a lot of pretense there.”
Whatever, no 16 year old has a filter and it is apparent that just about everyone else in the world but me has forgotten that she is ONLY 16. I just don’t understand why everyone seems to think she is so mature and “older” than she really is. Can someone please explain this to me?

I’m with ya Country Girl…She is 16, and shouldn’t be giving advice or even talking for that matter…
I agree with you. Its just ridiculous anymore. People act like what she says is so important because shes famous. In the real world, shes still just a 16 year old kid and we need to remember that.
Why in the world is she giving teens advice when she is still one herself. Just because she is famous, doesn’t mean that she is allowed to give advice. She always acts like she is older than what she really is.

Yeah she’s 16,yeah she can seem/be a tad annoying. But I’m pretty sure some adults would give the same type of “follow your dreams” advice. I understand peoples concern with their children taking advice from someone that hasn’t fully lived it all yet.
