Taylor Swift took to her Myspace blog to share what’s been going on with her.  She’s been in the studio recording some new music…but don’t be looking for a new album just yet…

It’s so much fun knowing that you can take your time, because you have like a year and a half to make something you’re really proud of. I love recording a few songs, waiting a few months, recording a few more.. Instead of devoting a few weeks to “record the album” and then it’s just done. I like dragging it out, that way you can be meticulous about every detail.

Taylor will also be playing at the Houston Rodeo coming up.  She’s pretty excited, since it’s something she’s watched and always wanted to be a part of since she was younger…

I’ve heard about it since I was born because my mom’s from Houston. They’re telling me really crazy things about the ticket sales so far, and I’m kind of in shock about how many of your beautiful faces I’m going to be seeing tomorrow.

When Taylor returns home to Nashville, she’ll get to see her stage for her Fearless Tour for the very first time, when she walks into the warehouse to start tour rehearsals. 

Considering that the stage was originally inspired from a drawing I made a few years ago, I’ll be the most excited person in the room when we go over and see it for the first time.

I am actually pretty bummed Taylor won’t be doing her Fearless show in Nashville, not that I’d have a chance in H-E-Double hockey sticks of getting a ticket, but I think my daughter would faint….I guess she’ll have to just “make due” with her first concert experience being at the Grand Ole Opry to see Taylor next month.  But, I bet Taylor’s stage show is gonna be AMAZING! She really has a way with connecting with her fans, and she’s still very very thanksful….

Again, I know I say thank you every 4 seconds, but.. guys.. Thanks for all of this.
