Country Music Tattle Tale was honored to be invited to the TJ Martell Foundation Luncheon on Tuesday. The T.J. Martell Foundation is one of the world’s primary funders of innovative, early stage cancer and AIDS research that leads to practical, effective treatments in the near term.
We heard amazing stories of survival, some of defeat and mostly of hope. The TJ Martell Foundation hopes to inspire and provide the research needed to that those who are effected by these diseases. With offices and country music artists surrounding Nashville 2009 is going to offer a ton of exciting events to help raise money for the foundation.
Jimmy Wayne serves as a Celebrity Ambassador for the foundation. We were lucky enough to sit down and chat with him for a few quick minutes. His sense of humor knocked me off my feet. He is a very genuine guy with a great and quirky funniness about him.
