Rascal Flatts concert at Madison Square Garden on Thursday night (Feb. 12) established them as the first country act to sell out the venue in three consecutive years, totaling ticket sales of almost 45,000. “We love the energy when we play in the Garden,” says guitarist Joe Don Rooney. “There is nothing like performing for our fans in New York City.”
I know a lot of people hate on me because I am such a huge fan of Rascal Flatts. But numbers don’t lie people. I am certainly not the only fan out there. These guys continue to break records, have number one hits and are still going strong. Don’t knock ‘em till you try ‘em people! If they are selling out Madison Square Garden with someone like Jessica Simpson opening – there is something great about Rascal Flatts.

I only have one thing to say to that – AMEN!!
Don’t care about Rascal Flatts anymore. They are stupid for having Jessica Simpson on their tour. Won’t watch them anymore.
ag – If you were ever a true Rascal Flatts fan then you would not stop watching them just because of Jessica Simpson. Seems like the sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden didn’t seem to mind. : )
WOW this is great news!!! I just love those guys!! I don’t know if Jessica was a good idea or not I have not seen her live this tour. Besides I am there to see and hear the RF!!! makes no difference who the opening act is. WTG RF!
I have been a RF fan since 2003 and have seen them in concert 13 times. It doesn’t matter to me who opens for them (although I have to admit Jessica Simpson would not be my idea of a great opening act) because I am there to see and support them. With that being said, if you don’t like the opening act…go stand in line and by yourself a drink and then go to the bathroom. By the time all of that is over, the guys should be hitting the stage!
The numbers really don’t lie; Rascal Flatts are true entertainers of the year!
