Victoria, Australia is being devastated by disastrous bush fires. The death toll is expected to hit 200 at some point. Yesterday, a telethon was held to raise money for the victims who have lost virtually everything. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban spoke via video on the telethon and donated half a million dollars to the cause. It’s good to see people with money use it for something good.

The Urbans are beyond generous. Keith has given so much time and money to various charities, especially St. Judes. Nicole is well known for her charitable giving..hospitals, etc. Just because they are financially comfortable, does not mean they need to give; but the Urbans choose to give. What gracious, loving people.
So true is the comment by Butterfly. Many people who are financially able do not see a need to be generous to those in need. I am so proud to be a fan of both Keith and Nicole. This is just another reason why I continue to support them, and wish them much happiness.
