Blake Shelton knows his career is going well when girlfriend Miranda Lambert gets jealous. He tells “GAC Nights” that when he got the call, saying his song “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” had gone No. 1, he was “jumpin’ around, high-fivin’ everybody.” He says Miranda stood off to the side and then said, “Why does everybody like you all of a sudden?”

Before now,  Miranda has been the one in the spotlight, with awards including album of the year for “Crazy Ex-Girlfriend” from the Academy of Country Music. Blake says when he saw that little bit of jealousy, it meant “Yeah, things are goin’ good!”

Yeah, it sounds like these two are just one step away from the alter!

While we are on the subject of Miranda it sounds like she just may be reading our blog right about now. Nashville Gab posted an interesting interview where she says: “I read all the magazines and all the headlines and every single tabloid you can think of. I read ‘em! I’m a sucker for it just like everybody else! But one thing that shocks me is that people are like…. They have this thing in one of the magazines called ‘Stars Are Just Like Us’or ‘Stars Are People, Too’- and it’s like, what did you think they were? I mean, they’re just people with a talent.”

She adds that people need to cut celebrities some slack now and then. “You know, we’re gonna make mistakes, and they’re gonna be, you know, in a bad mood sometimes, and I just hate when people put you on this pedestal that you can’t, you know, live up to sometimes. We’re just people — come on! (laughs)”
