The Tennessean has a great article about the boys who played the mini-versions of Keith Urban and Brad Paisley. Trent Jones, the 11 year-old Brentwood, Tennessee native, got to play guitar hero, meet country stars, and jam on a guitar…rough gig.
“I’d never heard of Keith Urban before the video, but I’m definitely a fan now,” Trent said
“He had a great time being a rock star for the day. He loves music and he certainly loves country music now. After the video shoot, he’s definitely taking his guitar lessons much more seriously,” said his mom, Barb Jones.
There was only a week between the audition and the end of filming, so it was a whirlwind for the tween. He also got to meet Nicole Kidman. Although, he mingled with the stars, Trent says he doesn’t think acting will be in his future.
“I’ll probably still act, but not for a living. I’ll have another job,” he said. “I’m not sure what that will be yet. But I know I will find out.”
I don’t know why it never occurred to me when I was 11….I mean…c’mon….Tawny, get out there…be in music videos. Hmmm…11 years old…I might have qualified to be in Keith Urban’s “Your Everything” video…but that’s about it.
