Apparently Carrie Underwood and Ottawa Senators centre Mike Fisher have been going strong for months.

We all know that Carrie was at the Sens-Toronto Maple Leafs game Saturday night where the Jumbotron “Hug Cam” at the Air Canada Centre spotted her in a private VIP box hugging two people sitting next to her. Mr. Fisher’s parents and his brother, Bud, also a hockey player, were in the box watching.

The romance apparently began after Mike went backstage after Carrie’s concert on March 21st at Scotiabank Place. The couple hit it off and then began dating some time after meeting that night.

The only real quote I can find from Mike about their romance is:

“I can’t comment on anything in my personal life, so that’s about all I can say. I don’t really want to say anything.”

But we have seen Carrie out with Mike’s sister on a few occasions and Mikes trainer and friend Tony Greco says;

“I think it’s serious, I mean he’s really happy with her. They’re a perfect match.”

I am pulling for Carrie on this one.  I have checked around online and it seems like this guy is a pretty good one. Hang on for dear life Carrie. I hope this one works out for you.
