The Boot always gets great interviews with some of my favorite artists.  I need them to give me a freelance job.  I will do anything – just help me get closer to my favorite country acts.  You think they have my Rascal Flatts mo-jo that I seem to have lost?

Anyways, they had a great interview with Dierks Bentley about his upcoming tour with Brad Paisley. 

We ALL know how notorious Brad is for his pranks with his tour mates.  If you are touring with Brad you WILL be pranked – BIG.  Just a few to name:  

• He hid smelly raw chicken in Blake Shelton’s bus
• Kidnapped Jack Ingram and putt him in a cage
• Dressed up men to come on stage dressed as Jewel

the list just goes on and on.   So, is Dierks nervous about being pranked while on tour?  He tells The Boot,

“There’s nothing you can throw at us that we can’t take,” Bentley tells The Boot. “We’re ready for whatever Brad wants to bring. We’re not worried about it!”

It sounds like Dierks is a bit of a prankster himself;

“We had a lot of fun at Miranda Lambert’s expense,” he recalls of one of his own favorite pranks. “We got a big bucket of ping pong balls up in the rafters, and throughout her whole first song we’d let them fall, two by two, on her head. They got us back by using dental floss and criss-crossing it through the entire inside of our bus. There was absolutely no way to get through this matrix of dental floss.”

Sounds like this is going to be a tour full of fun pranks and amazing music.  I can’t wait for March to get here!
