Sugarland is the only country artist set to play at this year’s Jazzfest in New Orleans.  {source}  Anyone else think this is a weird choice?  I can think of a few other country artists that would better fit into Jazz music.   I thought that this would be a much better year for them – since they received an Entertainer of the Year nomination from the CMA’s.  You just don’t hear very much from them very often.
