We hope that everyone had a safe and Happy New Year. Mine was very uneventful but fun. We took our 2 & 3 year old bowling – it was pretty funny. Then we came home and played board games with family until midnight. I know – I sound like an old women. I promise i’m not. There was just NOTHING going on in town that interested me.
Craig Morgan rang in the new year at the Wildhorse Saloon. From the reviews that I have read it was a decent show. (If you were there email us at countrymusictattletale@yahoo.com and let us know how it was).
Of coarse the Trace Adkins concert at the Sommet Center in Nashville was cancelled due to low ticket sales. Word is Trace spend the New Year with his family and relaxing.
As you already know Taylor Swift rang in the New Year in New York City with BFF Kellie Pickler. They were on Dick Clark’s Rockin New Years Eve show. I will be honest I didn’t see her perform but I did see her at the end standing within one square foot as her ex Jonas Brother. She was a good sport but the look on her face was one of two things. 1.) It’s freezing out here and I just want some Starbucks or 2.) Why the hell do they have me standing so close to that stupid Jonas Brother who broke up with me over the phone!
Maybe it was choice number 1. Her Twitter account was updated and said: “most likely have frostbite. THAT was fun!”
Here is a YouTube video from her performance last night. Still love Taylor. Think she looks amazing but doesn’t sound good at all. Great performer but doesn’t have the vocals.

Had to change the channel when Taylor performed. Bad just bad performance. Fox had a great country band called “Locash Cowboys” They were really entertaining. Chuck Wicks also performed.
I couldn’t agree more.. I love Taylor’s Fearless album, but her performance last night was awful. Do you think she was just too cold to sing well? LOL

Gosh can’t believe she is the girl with #1 album but can’t sing live
what an awful performance
I have to agree with you a little bit cntry_dgl. She is quite the entertainer though. I guess there is something to be said about that. Her songs hit a cord with most of the girls and women listenting to her. I watch just as many 30 year old women scream for her at her concerts as I do the little tweens dressed in sun dresses and cowboy boots.
Country Fan – I caught a little bit of both of the acts that you mentioned. Both sounded WAY better live and on tv than Taylor.
