It appears that all the celebs are all hunkered down with their families gearing up for the holidays.  No news is supposedly good news…I’m exhausted from a failed attempt at potty training my 2-year-old today, so I am in need of a pick-me-up.  So, I immediately went to YouTube to search for some Keith Urban videos, cuz he always has a way of cheering me up. 

I came across a fan-taken video of Keith signing autographs before the CMA’s.  I happen to know that he is talking on the phone to the winner of GAC’s Ultimate Keith Urban fan contest.  Keith is the greatest.  He remembers his fans.  He treats his fans well.  He was one of the very few artists to give the crowd outside the Sommet Center some face time.   Anyhow, here is the video.  Enjoy!

Oh, and Monkeyville is a happy place to be today. Keith’s fans were very upset that he wasn’t given Enterainer of the Year at the CMA’s.  So, fanclub members took up a collection and got Keith an Entertainer of the Year Award inscribed with “Our Entertainer of the Year Forever.”  Keith posted a video “Thank You” to his fanclub.  It’s really cute.  He shot it at the Castle Recording Studio in Franklin Tennessee this past Wednesday.  He is truly grateful that his fans are so appreciative of all that he does. 

Now, I have yet to meet Keith Urban. However, I am going to the Ryman on the Saturday after Christmas. I am hoping to score some behind the scenes action with Julianne Hough, Chuck Wicks, Jamey Johnson, and Keith. Obviously, I’ll take TONS of pictures and spill all the juicy details. I’m asking for all of you to tell Santa that all Tawny Tucker wants for Christmas is her picture taken with Keith Urban. Thanks in advance!!!!
