Rascal Flatts fans would have been melting if they were at the Hard Rock Cafe in Nashville on Monday.  Joe Don Rooney was there showing off his amazing skills at the premiere of Gibson’s new guitar “Dark Fire”. 

Unfortunately, I was unable to make it because my kids are sick but one of our readers, Nicole, has been so nice to provide us with the pictures and review.  Thanks Nicole!

Monday night was the premiere of Gibson’s new guitar “Dark Fire” and Joe Don was on hand to show it off. The event got off to a late start, but once he arrived, he demonstrated the various features the guitar offers and answered questions from the media and fellow guitar players. After the demo and Q&A, he stuck around for media interviews and a mini-photo shoot outside (they had him posing with the guitar between two pyro machines that were shooting off fire!). Once he finished, he stayed to take pictures and sign autographs for fans. His wife Tiffany was also there, doing the same. (As a side note – she is just the sweetest!!) It was a great night!

And how is this for rubbing salt into my Rascal Flatts wounds.  Jay Demarcus was downtown doing a show last night – AND I MISSED IT TO!  What is wrong with me????  The holidays have been getting me bogged down and there is just no excuse for it.  Bad me, Bad me.  If you were able to make it to Jay’s show last night and have pictures let us know.  We would love to see what we missed.

UPDATE:  Nicole just let me know that Jay was tied up in the studio last night so he was not able to make it out to the Toys for Tots show.  Hopefully the guys were putting the finishing touches on their new album coming out this spring.  I can’t wait!!!!!
