Okay, this is not exactly earth shattering, but I figure it’s better than blogging about my family getting the flu, or Country Girl’s husband and his apparent fear of yule tide festivities..

So listen up Florida readers!

The Florida Strawberry Festival has announced it’s lineup for 2009, and your going to get a crack at seeing Taylor Swift and Julianne Hough. Of course, as of any big headline acts lately, it’s not with out its fame hungry, talentless openers. That’s right, your going to have to put up with slutterina Simpleton (probably wearing even less clothes than usual because the temp is over 80 degrees) screeching into your microphones as well. Poor Taylor Swift. Jeff Foxworthy will also be there, as well as cutie patootie Kellie Pickler, George Jones, and Kool & the Gang.

That’s quite a diverse line up! If you want to try and catch it, the festival runs Feb. 26 through March 8. Concert prices haven’t been released but each show will have about 3,000 free seats available the day of the performance. (We are pretty sure those are the Jessica Simpson seats.
