Jessica Simpson is a proud Auntie, and is letting the world know. She proudly told People Magazine in an interview how much she loves her new nephew Bronx Mowgli Wentz.

“Bronx is beyond precious. I’m over the moon with joy,” the singer said Friday. “Life is a beautiful miracle. Ashlee and Pete are healthy, happy, and enjoying every moment.”

We have also heard that she wants to get the word out, that if you happen to see Tony Romo, please tell him for Jessica that the 28 little blue pills he found floating the the toilet, and the miniature football jersey that says “Tony Jr.” were a complete coincidence. We’re guessing he discovered the secret combo of sleeping pills and Viagra she has been slipping in his soup, and has since been hiding in the couples laundry room. Thanks to countless hours of that obnoxious show “Newlyweds”, we all know that Jessica won’t go anywhere near a washer and dryer. Lots of buttons.. very scary.

Side note- wasn’t Mowgli that furry little critter in “Gremlins” that couldn’t get wet? Must be an homage from Ashlee to her big sister. I can see the similarities. Both have lots of hair, both are slightly tone deaf, and every time Jessica gets on stage, she starts shrieking, “Bright Light! Bright Light!”
