I know that I already posted two long posts about the Dierks Bentley Miles and Music for Kids event but I think that Dierks deserves his very own post.

Before yesterday I didn’t really have an opinion on Dierks Bentley. I knew his songs and thought that they were good but I didn’t know much else about him really.

Watching him yesterday was amazing. He and his wife had just had a baby a few hours earlier and he still showed up for an entire day event to mingle with fans, take photos and give autographs all for the sake of raising money for Monroe Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

He looked exhausted but still exuded this excitement and “little boy” look that was too cute to pass up. You would watch him run around back stage at Riverfront asking everyone he could find to sing for the fans and even at the end of the long day got up on stage and rocked it for us. He sounded amazing and he has found a new and loyal fan in me.
