These three great men never cease to amaze me. Once again they are taking all of the proceeds from their October 17th concert at Sommet Center in Nashville, TN and giving back to the children in our local community.
This information is posted on the Rascal Flatts website: http://www.rascalflatts.com/
RASCAL FLATTS is announcing today that their headline show at Nashville’s Sommet Center scheduled for October 17, 2008 will once again benefit the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. In the past three years, Rascal Flatts has donated 2.2 million dollars to the hospital from these Nashville concerts. Taylor Swift is the special guest.
“We have been overwhelmed by Nashville’s response to the Children’s Hospital benefit shows in the past three years,” said Gary LeVox. “It matters to us to give back and we can’t think of a better way to do that than to help right here in our own community. We have our fans and friends in Nashville to thank for being so generous.”
Tickets went on sale September 13 and are available at Ticketmaster outlets and http://www.ticketmaster.com/
Come on Rascal Flatts fans let’s help this concert sell out!!!! I will see you there!

So glad to see they are going to do the Vanderbilt concert for the kids. They announced they weren’t going to do it because of the economy. They have big hearts and this is great. Hope they can rase a lot.
This is the show from last year. I am pretty sure that there will not be a big 2009 concert at the Sommet Center this year. They will still make their yearly stop to visit the kids.
